CURRENT CLOSURE

7350 N/1900 S is closed between 2230 E and Bridle Path Loop. Residential access is available via 2090 E, 2230 E and 870 W. Local traffic can use 7350 N between Bridle Path Loop and Center Street to enter and exit the neighborhood. Lakeview Drive is open for Loch Lomond residents.

The road and sidewalk in the work zone are closed to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic for safety purposes.  Pedestrians walking to Northlake Park from the north side of 7350 N/1900 S should travel around the work zone (see map below). As of June 26, crews have installed fencing across 500 W to deter pedestrians.

To improve pedestrian safety, we encourage residents to:

• Increase supervision of children near the work zone

• Remind family members, neighbors and children to travel around, not through, the work zone

• Walk or drive with your children to Northlake Park via the detour route (see map below)

• Advise children to look both ways when crossing the road near the work zone, and stay alert for trucks and vehicles while crossing

• Watch out for other children near the work zone and remind them to stay out

This closure is now anticipated to open in early October, which will allow crews to complete additional irrigation, storm drain, sidewalk and curb and gutter work, as well as residential yard and fence repairs.
