WORK UPDATES

CURRENT CLOSURE

Starting Monday, April 1, the existing closure area on 7350 N/1900 S will be extended further west to 1100 W. The roadway will be closed to drivers from Center Street to 500 W until late spring and from 500 W and 1100 W until late summer.

 

Residential access will be available at 1100 W and there will be no residential access from 500 W. 
Crews will be preparing the expanded work zone in the coming weeks, and plan to start by milling the asphalt pavement the week of April 1. 

Residents should expect increased noise (digging, construction equipment, etc.), vibration, dust, lighting and truck traffic. There is no parking in the closure area.

Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists should use signed detour routes to avoid the work zone, which contains open trenches and other safety hazards.

 

Crews are working 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work during the same hours.
